Obituary for Trajan N. Ristovski
Trajan N. Ristovski, 86, of Rochelle Park, N.J., passed away on January 21, 2023. Visitation will be on Monday, January 23 from 6-9 p.m. at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 24 at 10 a.m. at Sts. Kiril and Metodij Macedonian Orthodox Church, 1050 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Kindly gather directly at the church for the service. Interment will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, N.J. Born in Dupeni, Macedonia, Trajan came to the U.S. in 1960 and lived in Newark, N.J. before moving to Wallington in 1971 and then Rochelle Park in 1988. He attended hospitality school in Skopje, Macedonia and was a Maître d’ with The Palisadium in Cliffside Park, N.J. before retiring. He was an avid sports fan but most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Predeceased by his sister, Dana, he is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Amelia (nee: Dimovitch); loving children, Christopher T. Ristovski (Laura), Donna T. Naumchevski, James T. Ristovski (John); cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (Joseph), Victoria, Joshua, and Giselle; and dear siblings, Spiro and Jordana.
