Josephine Aimone, 85, of Fairfield, N.J., passed away on April 13, 2023. Visitation will be on Mon., April 17, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Tues., April 18, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 12 Hollywood Ave., Fairfield. Kindly gather directly at the Church for the Mass. Born in Montclair, N.J., Josephine lived in Bloomfield, N.J. before settling in Fairfield in 1965. She was a homemaker, devoted to the care of her family. A master gardener, her home looked like it could have appeared in magazines. She was an animal lover, and cared for her beloved cats, Spooky and Ruby. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

Predeceased by her husband, Thomas M., her son, Thomas G., and her siblings, Vinnie, Ann, and Marie, she is survived by her loving children, Jill Collucci, and her husband, Michael, Michael Aimone, and his wife, Maggie; daughter-in-law, Marie Aimone; dear grandchildren, Thomas, Robert, Michael, Jenna, Nina, and Dominic; and cherished niece, Theresa Cassebaum.
