Obituary for Bruno M. Bartelloni
Bruno M. Bartelloni of Livingston, N.J., died at ninety-two on Monday, March 6, 2023. Born to Carlo and Emilia Bartelloni, Bruno was raised in Union City, N.J. Before moving to Livingston a few years ago, Mr. Bartelloni was a longtime Newark, Cedar Grove, and Rockaway resident.
He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Professionally and academically, Bruno pursued a long and fruitful path in education. He studied for his doctorate and became a teacher with additional duties as director of the summer school program with the Livingston Board of Education for 35 years. Additionally, he was a member of the New Jersey Education Association. Bruno was an active member of his community, serving on the little league Board of Advisors and a coach with St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church in Newark for many years. An avid reader, Mr. Bartelloni enjoyed playing and following sports, music, and the arts, but he will be remembered by many for his loving devotion to his family and friends.

Loving and caring father of Lisa Brown and husband Edward, Greg Bartelloni and longtime companion Lora Arpaio, Paul Bartelloni and wife Lori Gordon, and Steven Bartelloni and wife Amy. Cherished grandfather of Kristie, Steven, and fiancé Briana, NikkiAnn, and husband Adam, Greg. Jr., Jovanna, Alexis, Samantha, Logan, Jessica, and Victoria. Dear brother of the late Sandy Bianchi. Caring brother-in-law of Lucille Rudolph.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Shook''s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J. A Funeral Mass is planned for Friday, March 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church, 339 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J.
