Obituary for Brian Bravette
Brian Bravette, 64 of Cedar Grove, N.J. passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Born in Glen Ridge, N.J., he was a lifelong resident of Cedar Grove. He was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena RC Church in Cedar Grove. An avid hunter, he enjoyed playing golf, bowling and softball, and was a devout fan of the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. Brian will be best remembered for his love of animals and will be remembered for his love for family and friends. Prior to retiring in 2018, he was a Program Director for Citibank in New York City for many years.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth Bravette (Kirby). Loving and devoted father of Larisa Bravette (and her mother Deborah Graske). Cherished brother of Dr. Barry Bravette and his wife Cindy and Robyn Sloboda and husband Craig. Adored brother-in-law of Patty Bevilacqua and husband Danny and Blake Kirby and wife Amy. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 4 - 7 p.m. at Shook''s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J. A Funeral Mass is planned for Wednesday, May 24, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church, 339 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J. Please meet directly at the church. Cremation will be private.
