Obituary for Anthony P. Noce
Anthony P. Noce, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, in Fort Myers, Florida. He was 71 years old. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. A graveside service will be offered at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair, N.J. Memories and condolences may be shared at shookscedargrove.com.
Anthony was born on May 12, 1951 to Anthony and Florence Noce in Newark, New Jersey. Growing up in East Orange, New Jersey, he attended Clifford J. Scott High School and eventually earned a bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University. Anthony went on to run the family heating oil business and a successful contracting company. In later years, he was completely devoted to caring for his mother, Florence, at their home in Verona, New Jersey.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Florence Noce; sister, Donna Colaco; brother-in-law, Frank Colaco; and the light of his life, his niece and Goddaughter, Nicole Colaco. Anthony was predeceased by his father, Anthony M. Noce; grandparents, Emilio and Nellie Ragucci; and grandmother, Theresa Noce.
Anthony will be remembered for his genuine love of life, and most importantly, his love of family. He enjoyed making people laugh and could spend endless hours reminiscing about growing up with all his uncles and cousins in New Jersey. He was always the first one to offer help to friends and strangers alike – Anthony’s generosity touched many lives.
Anthony was a beautiful person inside and out. His smile and laughter could light a room. He cared deeply for the people around him and made an impact on many lives. He will be forever missed. Until we meet again…
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Anthony’s name to St. Matthew’s House, Naples, Florida.
